Schedule of Charges Levied on Various Aadhar Services

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has released a statement regarding the rates levied on various Aadhar services like changing of phone number, address and email. Here are the details

For Enrollment to Aadhar

Enrollment to Aadhar will be free for children with age group of 5 to 15 years. This will encourage the youth to register with unique identification. To enroll, you need to provide your standard 10th mark sheet along with your mobile number, address proof and your biometric details.

Changing your Biometric Details:

If you want to change your biometric details then you need to pay rupees 25 for it. Biometric details carry details of your body parts that hold uniqueness and they can’t be matched with any other person. This includes your retina scan, finger print of all the ten fingers that are unique to each other. All these data is stored in your Aadhar number which is accessible any time.

Changing your Demographic Details:

If you want to change your demographic details then you need to pay rupees 25 for it. Demographic details include your name, address, date of birth, mobile number and email ID. People usually change their email, mobile number and address at regular interval due to different reasons and for this you need to pay only 25 rupees.

Aadhar – Search and Print

Black and White Print

If you want to search your Aadhar card using your biometric details and get a black and white print on A4 size paper then you need to pay rupees 10 for it. It is mostly accessible in many Aadhar centers.

Colored Print

Searching Aadhar and getting a colored print on A4 paper will cost rupees 20 according to MEITY. You can also get a print on RC paper at different rates depending upon the center printing. The cost is mostly 40-60 rupees in maximum cases.

Note: You can call 1947 and lodge a complaint in case someone is demanding money for Aadhar enrollment or if the person is charging extra money then mentioned for the services.
