World Economic Forum 2017: Clean Energy Resources Development

We have over 2,500 people attending the World Economic Forum (WEF). All of them are the heads of government, businesses, and many other international organizations. In the presence of all these leaders, there could have been no better subject to discuss other than the use of clean energy resources. This is one of the highly awaited agendas of the World Economic Forum.

  • Enabling Greater World Wide Access To Renewable Energy Resources:

The electricity demand as well as its consumption will increase around 30% by the year 2040. Approximately 2 billion people will still not have any kind of access to the various reliable energy resources. This data definitely clicks on the need to enable a greater worldwide access of energy sources. We can achieve this by closing the present energy gap. If the non renewable energy sources are used to fulfill this demand, we all should be prepared to experience the earth shattering implications. Hence, in order to achieve balance electricity, we need to switch on to clean energy.

  • Scope Of Increasing Electricity System With The Increasing Digital System:

If we look around, we will definitely see a decade that has experienced rapid transformations. All these transformations are mainly because of the innovation in the field of digital space. Each and every sector is touched by this increasing digital revolution, including the electricity system. While we are in the middle of this new energy world, we must ensure the right path of the future’s electricity consumption.

The World Economic Forum has named this decade as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, in which we are continuously involved in innovations at every step. We have incredible opportunities for the customers as well as industries to transform the electricity system. It is also possible for the consumers to be the game changing players with the help of today’s existing technologies. With the help of these technologies itself, we can make the make the dream of using clean energy supply, a reality.

·         India’s Stand On The Use Of Clean Energy:

We all know that India is the fourth largest country in terms of carbon emitting. But still, India signed the Paris agreement, which dealt with the climate change. India has taken its initiative to overcome climate change and create a green planet by enhancing the use of clean energy fuels. People saw this step as a major concrete step towards the solution to the problem of climate change.

However, after the nomination of Rick Perry, as the head of the U.S. Department of Energy, there was a transformation of hopes into doubts. People know Rick Perry as a climate skeptic. There were doubts regarding the conversion of this age back to the age of coal and oil. Well, we all are highly optimistic, and we definitely believe that the investors will lead our way in the path of using clean energy, which will obviously put an end to the coal and oil age.
