India Participates in the Black Friday and Cyber Monday Market

The Black Friday Market is now, not just a market confined to U.S, or U.K, but it has also become one of the characteristic features of Indian business as well. There are people eagerly waiting for this market to open up today, that is on Friday 25th of November. So, for all the shopping lovers, I would like to tell you that Black Friday and Cyber Monday is back with a lot of exciting deals for you. Let me get you to the basics of this Black Friday market to let you understand about what exactly is a Black Friday, followed by the Cyber Monday as well.

What Exactly is a Black Friday And Cyber Monday?

Black Friday refers to the very next Friday, just after Thanksgiving. This is also officially or unofficially referred to as the start of the holiday shopping season. It is the enthusiasm associated with this day itself, there are almost all the stores coming out with door buster sales to attract the customers. There are people standing in the line, even before the stores are open. For bargain hunters, this Black Friday is the biggest festival in a year. One question that I think I would like to answer here would be the reason as to why this particular market is called “Black”. Well, this is a business cliché, I would say. The losses are recorded in red inks, and the profits with a black one. Since huge profit comes to the shop owner with this market, which answers as to why this market is being called as the “Black Friday” market. The following Monday, after the Black Friday, is popularly known as the Cyber Monday.

Amazon Gets Itself Ready For the Black Friday and Cyber Monday Market

If I talk precisely, it was around 2003, that Black Friday sales have started way long before Friday, where some stores start the sale from Thanksgiving; others start even from the prior Wednesday itself. But this time, out of the many retailers, Amazon is also present, that has shipped over a million Indian products to U.S., for the Black Friday, as well as the Cyber Monday market. Also, Amazon was the first horse launching the Black Friday deals daily from November 14th of this year. And now, almost everyone is getting themselves in, on this act quite early. This pre Christmas sale event has been inherited from U.S., about five years ago. It is supposed to begin from today, that is the day after thanksgiving. The active participation of Amazon in this year’s Black Friday Market shows that even we are interested in inheriting the enthusiasm of the Black Friday, as well as the Cyber Monday sale.
