Flipkart Republic Day Sale Offers to Counter Amazon Great Indian Sale

After strengthening its logistics capabilities by partnering with Ekart and making competition irrelevant for major e-commerce players, Flipkart is ready to launch its Republic Day Sale. The sale will coincide with its arch rival Amazon’s Great Indian Sale. Sale will start on January 21 and will end on January 23. The products like smartphones, consumer electronics, laptops, fashion and home décor products will be available on discount. Here are the details of Flipkart Republic Day Sale 2018.

Flipkart Mobile Offers

Some of the smartphones are available at unbelievable price or discounts such as Pixel 2XL at Rs 48,999 (that includes 10,000 off if purchased through HDFC credit card), Samsung Galaxy S7 at Rs 26,990, apart from additional discount of Rs 3,000 and Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 at a sale price of 29,999, Honor 9 mobile will also be launched on this platform.

Samsung Galaxy On Nxt 64GB and 16 GB will be available at Rs 10,999 (MRP at Rs 17,900), Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Lenovo K8 Plus, Moto G5 Plus and Smartron Phone P will be available at Rs 10,999, Rs 8,999, Rs 10,999 and Rs 7,999. The Flipkart sale will be available Infinix Note 4 will be available at Rs 7,999 (MRP at Rs 8,999) and Panasonic Eluga A3 at Rs 6,499 (MRP 11,499), iVoomii1 and iVoomi 11s will be available at discounted prices.

Flipkart Consumer Electronics offer

Exclusive offer will be available on laptop, TV, power bank, smartwatches, camera and other consumer electronics will be available. Citibank credit and debit cards users will get additional 10 percent cashback on the sale, the minimum purchase amount and maximum cashback have not yet revealed.

Apart from that, Flipkart will offer some amazing discounts on the fashion category in the leading brands.  These arresting offers will be for the limited time period, and the company calls it Grab or Gone deals.

There will also be deals offering products under Rs 690 and minimum 69% off on the selected products. Flipkart has been recently in talks with Pepper Fry-an online furniture marketplace for a strategic investment. This shows the e-commerce giant is putting its best step forward to diversify its business through acquisitions and investment.

Will these deals pose a threat to Amazon Great Indian sale?

Last year, Flipkart clinched the crown at its annual e-commerce festive season sale, with total sales estimate to surge by 40 percent last year. The company captured the market and declared itself as the winner in different metrics like order volume and active consumer. The large discounts and cash-backs contributed to its success.

Though both the companies are adopting new strategies to woo more customers but who will entrench the position that time will tell. But for now, we can say that fierce competition to attain the top slot has started.
