The best part of Jio GigaFiber Broadband services is it is free to install. There is zero installation cost and the customers will be charged for a refundable security deposit of Rs 4500 for Jio broadband router. Since Jio will work on an optical line terminal device so its configuration would be totally different from a standard broadband router and it would not be compatible with your existing router. The Jio router is also called as GigaHub Home Gateway.

The launch of its high speed broadband services bundled with internet-based television services will be available at a price of Rs 500 per month which is way lower than its rivals. At present, the cable operator offers similar services 100 GB at Rs 700-1000 and additional 250-300 for home for TV services.

It is believed that this new launch will further mark the end of poor fixed line infrastructure services and there will be a dawn of high-speed broadband services.
